1. Torrijas: the typical sweet of these dates.

There is no Easter without torrijas, the most traditional dessert of these dates in Spain. This bread soaked in milk, egg and sugar, then fried and sprinkled with cinnamon, is a must in every pastry shop and home in Madrid.
