"OCEANIC DREAM".
At Sweet Space we inaugurated "Oceanic Dream", a new space designed by Álex Briones and Bárbara Chapartegui.
Álex Briones' career began 15 years ago when he decided to leave law to dive headlong into the world of decoration. Following this radical change in his life, his way of decorating is based on "not being afraid and daring to experiment" and is marked by a conjunction of trends that in the words of Alex Briones himself "is like being subject to a dogma to reach an atmosphere away from the monotony". This personal and unique vision of decoration that Álex Briones has is reflected in the new Sweet Space room.
"Oceanic Dream" allows visitors to travel to a space where art and fun merge. The design is inspired by the ocean and features themed decorations such as whales, jellyfish, fish and divers; as well as interactive elements, starting with the entrance to the room, which is through a slide from a previous room that represents outer space.
In the words of Bárbara Chapartegui: "Their experience begins in space with the stars, the rockets and when they enter the slide they land in the immense ocean with its colors and marine animals".
In addition, it does not neglect the didactic factor, with a mural of the world with the names of the countries and their monuments.
The inspiration to create this room came from Alex Briones' visit to all the Sweet Space rooms and seeing a slide in the outer space room.
The goal of incorporating new spaces such as "Oceanic Dream" is to offer new sensations, experiences, imagination and color to visitors. Sweet Space is a place open to digital art and experiences beyond traditional expressions, following the trend of immersive experiences in art spaces in Europe.
According to Bárbara Chapartegui, "the initial idea was always to create an ocean for children with all its colors and significant animals. In this way, we were polishing nuances and elements between the two of us until we arrived at the final idea of which we are very proud, both for the concept and the aesthetics".
